On this week's Morning Conversation, KXCV-KRNW News Director Jeremy Werner sits down with Brett Esely - the Chairman of the Board for the St. Joseph Sports Commission.
The St. Joseph Sports Commission has recently decided to honor an inaugural class for the St. Joseph Area Sports Hall of Fame. The Hall of Fame is a new idea and Esely discussed how the Hall of Fame was formed. He said the Board of Directors wanted to impact economic development through sports and to recognize the great sports history of the city and the surrounding area.
Esely said they would like to have nominees by mid to late January and inductees will hopefully be announced end of summer to early fall, depending on the pandemic.
